– What is SWE and how am I involved?

<aside> ⚙️ SWE at UCR is a non-profit, educational, service organization that is driven by members who are passionate about supporting womxn and underrepresented minorities to achieve their full potential in their careers as engineers and leaders.

<aside> ⚙️ Mid year I came into the position of Public Relations Chair, in which I was responsible for creating content for SWE's various events, promoting them across platforms, and managing social media.

These events included workshops, socials, meetings, external events, and more.

<aside> ⚙️ Though it was a huge transition for me as a student, I gained experience in:

• Creating a posting and records system
• Establishing social media branding and themed feed + templates
• Successor training/supervising
  • planned theme transition
• Working in a rapid paced environment with quick deadlines
